'Just to say thank you for all your help and advice with the advertising for my new business. I've had a very good response and most enquiries were due to the advertising in the Maidstone Village Magazine. A success in my book! Thank you, once again, and I look forward to a continued success in advertising with your magazine! I would, certainly, reccommend the Maidstone Village Magazine to any new small business starting up.' Care Company
'Maidstone Village Magazine has been a fantastic communication tool for Maidstone YMCA since we opened in Jan 2011 and the team have always been incredibly supportive of the activities we have here for local people. The attention to detail, high standard of production and excellent value for money make Maidstone Village Magazine one of the most effective and respected local publications on the market.' "What an amazing little magazine - I always try to get my hands on one when I can, though they are very popular at our local Post Office and soon disappear. A lot of up-to-date information, helpful articles, adverts for tradesmen and services - and all local and relevant! I always keep a copy handy by the phone. Thanks to all involved in it's production, keep up the good work!" Elizabeth Cross, Local Resident
'What a marvellous little mine of information, ranging from a complete social diary for children and adults of events in the surrounding areas, to a healthy stack of advertisements for local businesses which provide a wide variety of services for any household. There are also interesting articles, recipes, useful phone numbers and so much more ........ and its free!!' Lesley Greenway, Local Resident

It has become valuable to us as a resource to local produces and small businesses, which are close at hand. We like to support the local area and what it provides. The content of the Magazine appear's to be well balanced, between Articles and Adverts and as always accompanied by a great front cover. Looking forward to my next copy dropping through the letter box.' Les Hill, Local Resident
'Since moving to the area from Medway, we have often travelled back there to use trusted businesses but the Maidstone Village Magazine has proved to be an invaluable vehicle to introduce us to local products and services. ‘I do look forward to receiving my copy of the Village Magazine. It’s great and well put together. I always keep it till the next one arrives as it always has someone new advertising. I like to use the local businesses in order to support my local community and feel as though they are more trustworthy and reliable. The articles are always interesting and useful, as is the list of contacts and useful numbers.’ Sue Stretton, Local Resident
'Please don’t ever change the lovely glossy paper on which you print the magazine which makes it the ideal flip-through while drinking tea in the afternoon – no grimy fingers after reading it. I always turn, after the sudoku, to the book reviews, the gardening and then the recipe. Once my husband has read the car news, we pin the magazine on the notice board to reference the dates of farmers’ markets, telephone numbers, etc., where it stays until the next month’s arrives. (It’s also really useful when you suddenly need a trade). Congratulations on producing such an interesting and useful magazine.' Sue McCann, Local Resident
'The Village Magazine is a welcome booklet through our door each month. It is well produced on good quality paper and has a good mix of articles including many useful phone numbers and local ads. I do hope that the production of this magazine will continue. I think it is an excellent magazine. It also has a variety of topics - e.g. gardening, recipe, book review - not too much of any one topic. Very readable. Thank you.' Jenny Le Quesne, Local Resident
'We receive the magazine regularly, and find it very interesting to read. Both the Features and the Regulars contain very informative articles especially ‘what’s on’ in the month and locally. Even the adverts have been useful sometimes. Keep up the good work.' Mrs. A. Galea, Local Resident

'I always like to look through Village Magazine as it has a lot of information about what is going on locally and interesting articles. The article on creating a low maintenance garden with shrubs was of particular interest to me. For a small magazine it contains a surprising amount of useful and varied information and of course the competitions. Thank you once again.' Pat Standen, Local Resident
'I like it (the magazine) because it is a good size - not too big. The adverts are relevant to households in the area and there are a few features too. We do receive other monthly magazines but it is good to get this one for reference about local activities and businesses. It's great that it is free!' Linda Strachan, Local Resident

'We both enjoy reading it (the magazine) as it is full of useful information regarding local events. This is something other similar magazines fail to do. The articles are interesting and the competitions are of particular favour to myself. As the magazine is delivered on a regular basis the news items are topical and relevant. Thanks again for a splendid magazine, long may it continue.' Bruce Ditcher, Local Resident
'The magazine is a great source for up and coming local events. I especially like the info on farmers markets and useful numbers.' Local Resident
'I find some of the articles in the magazine very interesting and it is good to have a village reference book to hand, both for local events and because we try to use local people wherever possible when we need work or services. It is good that we seem to have an active community and Parish Council too. We walk round the village almost every day but unfortunately we were away the last time the "street cleaning" took place or we would have joined in. We are lucky enough to live next door to Barry Boulter, who does quite a lot for our little local community, as he does for the Parish as a whole, but I know we should do more ourselves in terms of participation. Perhaps speaking to you today will give me the push I need. Thank you once again.' Rita Overal, Local Resident
'Thank you for your magazine - we thoroughly enjoyed our bluebell walk at Hush Heath thanks to your what's on section.' Margaret Jessop, Local Resident
'We don't buy the KM so rely on your mag to find out what's going on around Maidstone. I enjoy the book reviews being a member of a book group for 10 years and always look at my stars! Often wish I hadn't! It's also really useful for the names handy businesses such as tree and garden people and utility handymen.' Lynn Rylands, Local Resident
'I really enjoy the Village Magazine which I find full of interesting things and very helpful for local listings. I do find it useful for many things including the helpful numbers and the What’s on section.' Sandra Crawley, Local Resident
'The Village is a really good magazine – well presented, good summary of local events and contacts, along with adverts promoting local business. The competitions are an extra bonus and I was delighted to win two cinema tickets in the recent Sudoku competition I hope it continues to thrive.' David Macgregor, Local Resident
